At DCC we believe developing a personal relationship with Jesus is the most important thing we can help you do. No matter how long we've been walking with Jesus we can learn to be more like Him. Our hope is that this page helps give you the tools needed to continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Knowing God
By J. I. Packer

We love to hear stories of how God is working in our church! We celebrate every story we receive, and we are always looking for opportunities to share stories in our events, resources, and online.

If you are engaged or seriously dating we strongly encourage you to take part in pre-marital counseling. We are for marriage and want to help you create a Christ centered marriage and family for you and your spouse. All of our pre-marital counseling is done through married couples in the church. Our hope is that this isn't a one time event with another couple but a bond that is created to have someone walk along side you both during your lives together.

We believe in the power of Prayer and the freedom that comes from making our requests made known to Him. If you would like us to stand beside you in prayer, please share your request below and we'll make sure to be praying for you.

"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1

Care Team Disclaimers:

  • This shouldn’t take away from the Sunday morning post service Prayer Team.

  • Your Care Team member will probably only be able to meet with you once or twice. We’ve asked them to make two points of contact; at least one in person and the other can be in person or via text/ phone/ email. We acknowledge that many of you would love to have someone to disciple you, and there’s always the chance that relationships built through any of our ministries could develop into discipleship. It’s our hope and prayer that that can happen for all of our church family! However, we can’t make any guarantees that discipleship will result from the care team.

  • Your Care Team member is there to provide you with support and point you toward the Lord and His Word, and how He is speaking into your issue. They aren’t trained as therapists, but they may be able to recommend counseling services to you if that’s a direction you’d be interested in.

  • Information that is transmitted through the Care Team page won’t be shared with anyone outside of the Care Team. However, if that information leads us to believe that there is a dangerous or life-threatening situation, we will notify appropriate authorities.
